anger is the same, it is not, and depending on the type of anger
you have your methods for treatment can be different.

the initiative to get professional help exhibits great intelligence
and maturity.
What are the different types of anger?
The first form of anger is widely recognized as passive anger.
Just because the name is passive does not mean that is less
complicated or any easier to deal with than other types of anger.
Passive angry people generally show covert signs of anger. Most
passively angry people have a secretive disposition and are the
gossiping type. This being said, they tend to seek vindication via
sneaky setups. They tend to set themselves and others up for
failure intentionally. They often mumble under their breaths and
avoid eye contact as well.
Many passively angry people often practices self blame and
manipulation. If angry, they often become quiet and shy away from
confrontation. They can also be described as reclusive and
standoffish.
The second form of anger is aggressive anger. Aggressively angry
people often practice bullying and threatening people. It is
generally their nature to be vengeful and selfish. Often times, to
conceal insecurities and short comings they practice grandiosity.
This type of anger generally leads to violence, and aggressively
angry people are often loud in nature
Dealing with certain types of angers accordingly
Depending on what type of anger a person has, they should be
dealt with in certain ways. it is often affective to slowly coerce
passive angry people. On the other hand you must be firm but not
too aggressive with people who have a more overt anger. Passive
angry people often deal with expressing emotions much better than
angry people who are aggressive. When dealing with an aggressive
angry person you should refrain from arguing with them, this only
fuels their fire.
What to do for aggressive anger
When dealing with someone who is aggressively angry it is best
to present them with as many facts as possible. Try to distance
opinion from your arguments and be as rational as possible. This
will hinder the individual bringing up irrelevant topics. Try to
make that individual see how irate they are being and remember not
to promote outbursts. Often times an aggressive angry person can be
pacified by being ignored.
Passive individuals should still be watched
Remember that just because a person is more passive with their
anger does not mean that that person is less dangerous. Passive
people tend to more cunning and can orchestrate large webs of
drama. It is best to keep your guard up around an individual who is
passive but remain respectful.
These are some of the different types of anger. It's helpful to
become knowledable about different anger types, so you can better
determine the appropriate anger management method.
